Chapter 11:

Kalia pulled on the black body suit she stole from the merchant and smirked. It was tight that was for sure but it worked with her biotics. Kalia ran a hand through her slightly damp hair as she walked around in the small apartment. Nova found the empty apartment and they were holding up there until they could get a place of their own. The space was small and cramped but it was a roof over their heads and it was warm. Kalia pulled on her black gloves and looked around the bare apartment. The only piece of furniture in the apartment was a huge couch.

Nova spent the night before researching their target. They were to go after a CEO that fled to Omega to escape assassins. It was Kalia's job to sneak into one of his parties and seduce him then when it was dark the two were to kill him. Kalia thought the job would be quick easy and clean but Nova had to spend hours researching it.

Kalia leaned on the wall as she shook her head, "Nova the more you worry about this the more you're going to get yourself worked up."

The girl received a cold glare from the Asari, "Perhaps but I like to be prepared not go in guns blazing."

A smirk danced a crossed Kalia's lips as she looked out into Omega. Shuttles flew by quietly as they weaved through the station. Kalia looked out into the bright neon red lights of Omega and thought about Alexander. It was the first time in almost a week that her thoughts wandered to him. Kalia felt tears welled in her eyes then wiped them away bitterly turning towards Nova, "Let's get this done."

Inside the private club it was dark and loud. The bass from the music bounced off Kalia's skin as she stood at the bar smiling and flirting with a Turian. Her hair was clean for the first time in weeks. It felt light as it hung to her lower back in long dark brown curls. Her eyes were framed by dark eyeliner Nova stole and did so it makes her eyes look like cats. All Kalia had to do was bat her eyelashes and men lined up to take her order.

Kalia was targeting a businessman by the name of Salvis Vakarian, a turian who had made deals against the Blue Suns. It was simple, get his account information then kill him. Kalia decided to switch the order around though, it would be easier to kill him first. She took a sip of the liquor she was drinking and laughed at something that wasn't funny at all. She could feel eyes on her as she played with a curl as she felt someone come up behind her.

"Can I buy you a drink?"

Kalia turned and meet a pair of hawk like black eyes she knew. Instantly Kalia thought back to the day she almost killed the Alliance training boy with her biotics. The eyes staring at her now almost three years later were those eyes. Kalia was brought back to her former life, when she was Kalerin and and a mother, a home, a friend. Kalia composed herself and smiled softly and shook her head then walked away from him.

She felt a hand clasping her wrist causing her biotics to flare. Kalia turned and looked at the man with her eyes glowing. He took a step back as he remembered her face his mouth dropped. Kalia smirked as she heard someone come up behind them.

"The lady said she didn't want your drink, leave her alone," a voice hissed behind them.

Kalia turned and looked into the tiny dark red eyes of a Turian. He was dressed in fine clothing and looked to be someone of importance. The human man crept away looking frightened before looking over his shoulder at Kalia one last time. With a smirk Kalia dimmed her eyes then turned to look at the turian who broke up the scene.

"Thanks," she said as she placed a hand lightly on her hip. The turian looked her over with a smirk. The look he was giving her made Kalia's skin crawl with disgust. She could see Nova sitting at a small table making small talk with a krogan and a human.

The turian held out an arm and smiled as the two walked over to a private table removed from everything else. Kalia sat down and placed a leg over her knee and placed her hands in her lap. The turian sat down next to her and moved close lacing one arm over the couch above Kalia's shoulders.

"Oh trust me it was no problem, I like to be some help to the new people here on Omega," he said as he smirked. The turian had red face paint above his eyes and along his cheek bones, "Do you have a name?"

Kalia smirked, "It's Alice."

A crooked smirk worked its way onto the turians face, "Lovely name, mines Salvis Vakarian, I'm sure you've heard of me," he said as he took his drink and took a sip.

Kalia felt herself light up when she realized how easy this was going to be. They were alone in a room sectioned off from everyone else. Salvis was sitting there with her without guards and he looked to be comfortable. Kalia batted her eyelashes as she smiled softly, "You're one of the richest men on Palaven," she placed the drink down and meet his eyes, "you've made a lot of deals with people over the years."

Salvis smirked, "I have but who hasn't in their life? We all have, some of us just do it better than overs."

Out of the corner of her eye Kalia saw Nova stand and walk towards the door and smirked back at Kalia. That was the signal, now she just needed to end Salvis and steal his data pad. Kalia turned back to Salvis and smirked as she straddled his lap. Salvis looked surprised but enjoyed it as he placed his hands on her hips. Slowly Kalia took her hands and placed them on either side of the turians skull and smiled. Kalia leaned down close enough to Salvis's face so he could feel her breath on his skin.

"And now the ones you've screwed over want redemption," she whispered. Salvis looked panicked and tried to struggle but Kalia put more pressure on him holding the massive turian down with her biotics. Then she smirked and channeled her biotics to her fingers then delivered two massive charges to Salvis's temples. His eyes widened for a moment before the light in the tiny eyes were gone.

Kalia stood and looked down at his dead body with a disgusted look on her face. Next she looked through his pockets for the data pad before she found it alone with about a thousand credits in his coat pocket. Kalia smirked one last time before turning and walking towards the door of the room. No one paid attention to her as she walked across the club with her head held high. Once outside the club Nova ran over to her smiling when she saw the data pad.

"It's done."
